Description

The Hario coffee grinder range (or mills as they call them) is extensive. We offer the Mini slim and the Skerton. The main difference between them is the amount of coffee they can grind into their grinds container.

Ceramic burrs

All the Hario manual coffee grinders use burrs made of ceramic. Ceramic burrs are know for not transferring heat to the bean. Also they shave the coffee bean versus cracking the bean like blade grinders. This process provides a more consistent grind that can easily be adjusted and set for repeat use.

Both these grinders a burr grinders. We only offer burr grinders over blade. It is important to note that these grinders are designed for coffee.

Which one for me

Choosing which Hario coffee grinder is best for you is a matter of determining your use. If you are using the grinder while travelling then the mini mill (24g) is the one to go for. However if it is for standard home use the Skerton (100g) gives you more flexibility with dose. Both the grinders have similar grinding ability
