In the last 8 months the traded coffee price has more than doubled. Add to that the pressure on the rand, and we have been forced to increase our pricing of Old-school, Zine and Armonizar as of end Jan 2022.
These commodity grade based blends, are part of our budget offering, and represent a range of coffees that offer great value. However, they are the most affected by market forces, since their prices are linked directly to them. Our specialty coffees are not as directly affected and you will see that we will only be increasing those prices in line with the financial year.
